How do you change the light bulb on the temperature switch on a 2002 Saturn l200?
It ain't easy. First pop the trim off around the unit, then if you have a radio above the temp unit take the radio out and then remove the temp unit trim to expose the bulbs. The bulbs twist out and you remove them from the rear. They are a specialty bulb only available from GM. Reassemble in reverse order above.
What could cause the turn signals not to work in a Saturn L200 when the car is cold less than approx 30F?
How do you replace light on heated seats switch on a 2000 Intrigue Light on switch for drivers seat OS out but light for passenger seat works?
The easiest way to remove an old brake light switch(also called stop light switch) is to break it off. Simply wedge a screwdriver between the switch and the metal bracket and twist. It will pop right out. The switch has 4 ledges that lock the stop-light switch into place. It's very difficult to remove without breaking it.
What to look for if 1998 SL1 Saturn low antifreeze fluid light and temperature light flash then stop flashing but fluid is full and engine does not overheat?
Change the temperature sending sensor on the engine. This is literally a 25 min. job from start to finish. The sensor's new from Saturn are cheap and notoriously going bad over time. Just did one in my 97 and it was simple and cleared the same problem. The return line from the engne to the fill/overflow tank may be clogged. Take it off and clean it out.
You can if you have a neutral wire present. If the existing switch is what is called a "switch loop" then you can not change the existing switch to a switched outlet. You can identify a switch loop by looking at the wires coming into the switch bow. If there are only one set of wires usually a black and white and they go directly to the switch then you have a switch loop
