open the oil drain plug located on the bottom of the oil pan. let it drain out. then put the plug back in. remove the oil filter ( probably located in the front of the pan up a little ways. wipe the area where the oil filter is put on to make sure there is no parts of the gasket left as this could cause leaking and other problems. when done screw the new oil filter on. once it hits. turn it about half a turn. dont overtighten it... then fill engine with new oil. let run for a few minutes. then check oil.
