Every 30,000 miles. There is no filter.
It has no filter on the trans-axle. If you are talking about the transmission filter, then it is inside the transmission.
? Not sure, I do not think there is a filter for the automatic or manual. If is it the 3.0 V6 the tranny filter is located inside the tranny(internal filter). Requires disassembly to replace. I just change the fluid every 20,000.
does a 2001 Honda civi have a transmission sensor an if so were it located at
what is the part no# for a replacement transmission filter, for a 2001 Pontiac gtp grand prix . Also how much transmission fluid does it take to change.thank you Tim
i am going to change my transmission filter, want to know how

13.4 quarts with a filter change
6 quarts
The F4A51 has an internal screen pickup. It is not servicable unless the transmission is disassebled. Older versions of this transmission had a "spin on" type filter mounted on the top, but this filter was discontinued on later models.
You can tell if synchronizers are broken in the transmission on a 2001 ford escape by checking the sychronizers.
Being surprised my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara (same as Tracker) had a drain plug for the transmission. I just change the fluid, not the filter or gasket.
