To remove the speaker grilles in the rear of a Mark VIII gently pry up on the lower forward portion of the speaker grille. Do not forceor pull on the grille, just pull it slightly out from the interior panel and then move your finger under the grille along the lower portion and up the back side. This SHOULD dislodge the clips that hold the grille in place. Now pull down very carefully on the entire grille assembly and it should be free of the interior panel. Now there are four TROX screws holding the woofer and two for the tweeter....
Its in the trunk, in between the rear speakers under the trunk lineing.
Rear are 6x9", doors are 6 1/2" and dash are 4.5"
It would have to be cut out.

lincoln has a standard radio which has a booster amplifier mounted in truck behind carpet of rear seat. there are no power amps like bose in each speaker it just boosts stock radio output from amp to speakers

If you mean the brake light, you just have to change the bulb or bulbs.

Remove the cover from your 2001 Kia rear speakers. Remove the rear speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers. Reverse the process to install the new rear speakers.
