It is not an expensive job. But, if you want to do it, once you remove the rear hub by the large nut in the middle, a sort of lock washer, then a washer, then the bearing.If you have to replace the race you need a brass punch to remove it. Takes a little bit of work. The inner bearing comes out once you remove the seal, again there is a race also. You do need a special tool to get the new race in, and it can be a tough job if you have never done it before. If the front and rear race look good and there is no damage to them, they may be used again. But if there is damage, they must be replaced or they will burn the new bearings.
