Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the vehicle safely.
Remove the starter support bracket, as required.
Label and disconnect the starter electrical harness.
Support the starter from beneath the vehicle using a jackstand.
Remove the starter mounting bolts.
Carefully lower the starter from the vehicle.
To install:
Position the starter on the engine and support it using a jackstand.
Install the starter mounting bolts and tighten to 30-37 ft. lbs. (40-50 Nm).
Connect the starter electrical harness.
Install the starter support bracket, as required.
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable.
