I have the same type of problem. The spring on my handle is rusted and the handle gets stuck in the up position. Take off the inside panel for the tailgate, or at least the right side. You should see two nuts through an opening (the wireing is around this area). I havn't done anything yet, but these should release (at least part of) the handle.
I have an 07 and the glass hatch opener is to the right of the rear hatch opener. It is much smaller though.
To open a Chamberlain garage door opener, you can use a remote control, a keypad, or a manual release handle located on the opener itself. Simply press the button on the remote control or enter the code on the keypad to activate the opener and raise the garage door. If there is a power outage or the opener malfunctions, you can use the manual release handle to disengage the opener and manually lift the door.
If you are talking about a hand held manual can opener then the fulcrum would be the rim of the can against which you engage the little notch before you exert pressure upwards on the handle to open the can.
The input force on a can opener is the force exerted by the user's hand to turn the handle. The output force is the force that the can opener applies to the can as it punctures and cuts through the lid.
A faucet handle and jar lid are simple machines.
A can opener produces mechanical energy by converting the motion of turning the handle into the motion of cutting through the can lid.
To use an Androck can bottle opener, first, ensure the device is securely placed on the bottle cap. Align the opener's lever with the edge of the cap, then press down on the handle to pop the cap off. Some models may have a built-in magnet to catch the cap as it comes off. Always handle the opener carefully to avoid any injuries.
To change the code for your garage door opener, locate the reset button on the opener unit and press it. Then, enter a new code using the keypad on the opener or remote control. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for specific steps on changing the code.

The input motion and force of a can opener come from the user's hand rotating the handle. This motion is then transferred to the gear mechanism inside the can opener which applies force to the blade, allowing it to puncture the can. The output motion and force occur as the blade cuts around the can lid, driven by the user's continued rotation of the handle.
To change the garage door opener code on a Liftmaster, locate the "Learn" button on the opener unit, press and release it, then enter a new code on the keypad within 30 seconds.
The fulcrum is the pivot point where the bottle opener rotates, typically located near the base of the bottle opener. The effort is applied by the user at the handle end of the bottle opener to lift the bottle cap. The load is the resistance provided by the bottle cap, which is located at the other end of the bottle opener.
