C = 5/9 (f - 32)........f = 9/5c + 32

As an example: 100 Celsius to Fahrenheit

100 x 9 = 900

900 / 5 = 180

180 + 32 = 212

It follows therefore to convert 212 Fahrenheit to Celsius

212 - 32 = 180

180 / 9 = 20

20 x 5 = 100

Both of which are the generally accepted boiloing points of clean water.
