Drain the radiator. The thermostat is in a housing connected to the water pump. Remove the housing to replace the thermostat and gasket.

It is not hard if you have the proper tools. Drain the radiator and remove the upper hose at the engine. Remove the thermostat housing and install the thermostat. Clean the surfaces and install the new thermostat.

flush the system and change thermostat,this should fix problem. I flushed mine and i changed coolant and thermostat,it is now fine.

The thermostat housing is on the bottom radiator hose under the battery. The battery and bottom hose will have to be removed, then the thermostat housing can be unbolted to remove the thermostat.
