It should appear in the little window at the bottom of the speedometer dial. Next to it there should be a push switch to change from odometer mileage to "trip" mileage.
The best mileage for a three quater ton diesel pickup truck is 15 mph. It will only change if you going on a stopping trip and you don't use a highway on a long trip.
bumpbump... anyone? If you mean the spanner symbol & message such as 'change oil soon' just scroll through your trip computer as you do when you zero your trip mileage when you fill up with petrol.(press top button of right hand stalk).Scroll through trip mileage/ averages etc until you get to the change oil message and then clear it the same way you clear your trip mileage by holding the button in until the message flashes & clears.Lovely simple answer, but does not work on my 2004 Megane. This also works with the 04 scenic. I had to keep the button pressed in until the "service after 18000 miles" message disappeared, not sure if this is the case with all models?- Bluerainbow
There is no way to change the trip computer to display MPG, except perhaps in the service centre, since the dashboard LCD which displays mileage is universal for metric and imperial countries (has both km and mile segments for displaying gas mileage).
The trip opometer can be reset and doesn't change the odometer. The trip opometer can be reset and doesn't change the odometer. An odometer is a continual counter of distance and a trip odometer measures from point A to B and can be reset.
Where is trip odometer reset button on vauxhall insignia
I have a 2003 and average 11.5-13.5 once on a long trip I got 18. that was a fluke
usually this can be accomplished by setting your trip odometer to current mileage, turn off car completely , push and hold trip button, turn on key without cranking motor and watch the lines where the mileage appears count down till the mileage reappears. if this doesn't work, set the trip to trip A or trip B and try again.
To reset the mileage on a Holden 2004 model, you may need to disconnect the vehicle's battery for a few minutes to reset the trip odometer. Alternatively, some Holden models have a reset button on the dashboard that allows you to reset the mileage manually. Consult the vehicle's manual for specific instructions on how to reset the mileage on your particular Holden model.
Hi, to change it between the total miles and the trip meter you need to hold down the tube-like switch.....and to reset the trip meter you press it once (when you're looking at the trip meter - not the total miles)
The Last Road Trip - 2004 was released on: USA: 4 July 2004
Most cars today come with a "trip tracker" button on the dash of the vehicle. It tells exactly how many miles you drive, but you'll have to mark the starting mileage and the ending mileage numbers of the trip. Happy Trails to you.
