To change the window motor on a 2005 Kia Sedona, first, remove the door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and carefully prying off any clips. Disconnect the electrical harness connected to the window motor, then unbolt the motor from the regulator. Replace it with the new motor, reattach the electrical harness, and reassemble the door panel by reversing the disassembly steps. Make sure to test the window operation before finishing.

There could be a couple of reasons why a 2005 Ford Focus window will not roll up anymore. The window may be off track or if the windows are electric the motor could need to be replaced.

To replace the driver side front window motor on a 2005 Chevy Colorado, start by removing the door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and gently prying it off with a trim tool. Disconnect the wiring harness and remove the old window motor by unscrewing it from the regulator. Install the new motor by securing it to the regulator, reconnect the wiring harness, and then reattach the door panel. Finally, test the window operation to ensure everything is working correctly.
Additional question; Do you need to remove the entire regulator assy and if so, how do you separate the window from the window carrier? I've been told I need a special tool for the plastic clips that hold the window onto the carier and another solution is to drill out the rivets on the scissor slide mechanism on the carrier slider which makes no sense but seems to be the popular vote. Is that really the answer to just get the motor out?
