This vehicle has hook wiper arms. Find little tab on wiper blade where its inserted into the hook. Press tab and pull wiper out of hook. You may need to rotate blade to make clearance. On a 1999 Mercury Sable : In the fuse panel by the brake pedal : ( # 17 is a 30 amp fuse for the front wiper / washer )
You can change the wiper blades by removing the retaining clip to the wiper blade arm. The wiper blade will come off and can be replaced.
