The 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo has the most common hook-end wiper arms. There is a tab that you press that is where the wiper blade assembly is inserted into the hook. Press the tab and pull the wiper blade out of the hook. If corroded, spray some WD-40 on it and let it penetrate a little bit. Your replacement wiper blades will have illustrated instructions and you can also view the installation video below.
