In System Preferences select Displays and then switch the Colors menu from Millions to Thousands which will then limit your display to 16 Bit color.

well there is a way that you can do it with out your warrenty going. step 1. get apple sicker out of box. step 2. peel sticker and put over the apple logo. step 3. color sticker to the color you want. step 4. turn on macbook. step 5. look at logo to see if the light is a different color. or the light is shingeing through it. there you go
