"The program allows the user to change speech to text. You do not need headphones to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking. However, if you do not use headphones it will require you to use a microphone."
If the sound bar is moving (using a video chat program like aim, it will have two sound bars - one for sound and one for a microphone), then you might need to plug in additional speakers/headphones to your computer's headphone jack. I am not sure how to change the settings so that the webcam's own speakers can be used, but I'm sure it's possible.
you have to buy new ones....its kinda obvious....you can use any regular headphones but without the remote, you can not change the track or volume. you can also buy a 3rd party adapter but their are few and those that exist are of a lower quality. some are good though. lastly, you can buy headphones with a built in 3 button remote. you can choose from stock apple headphones or from a higher quality 3rd part headphones. i personally recommend Beats by Dr. Dre Tour. high quality and high reviews. also superior sound quality.
You don't have to change any settings. You just plug in the headphones.
If it has the option to recincronize

Generally speakers are plug-and-play. If you have tried that and it didn't work go to your control panel to 'Sounds and Audio Devices' to 'Speaker settings' then 'Advanced' and change the scroll bar to 'Headphones'

Noise reduction headphones are rated based on decibel readings. The decibel scale is logarithmic. A change of 10 dB means a tenfold change in loudness. Noise reducing headphones can block out 40 dB of ambient noise.
The microphone on the Ipad automatically turns on when you run a program that requires the use of a microphone. If you run skype, and you go into a voice call, the microphone will automatically turn on.
With a microphone
