You loosen the holding nut and remove it, then remove the blade, exactly the way you do on any table saw.
They will wear out at some point. You just have to judge if it is still cutting alright or not.
Ceramic tile should be cut with a wet saw, or with a tile scoring tool. It is not necessary to wet the tile in either case, as the wet saw will cool the blade and the scoring tool has no blade to cool.
Wet saw, with a diamond tip blade
How do I change the blade on my 18v Ryobi cordless circular chain saw?
Unscrew the handle to relive the tension on the saw. Remove the old blade, hook the new blade over the pins on the saw and tighten the handle back up.
A wet tile saw can be used in construction as a table saw, as a shredding saw or any type of regular saw. However the wet tile saw is specifically built for the use of water incorporated in the saw machine.
There are many types of wet saws. For tiling, the wet saw will need to have a diamond blade for best results. Wet saws tend to cost several hundred dollars new, many people rent these machines for smaller jobs.
There are many kinds saw blade, diamond saw blade and carbide saw blade. You should choose the saw blade according to the application, like wood, metal, stone, concrete, wall and so on.
You would use a wet saw that continuosly sprays water onto the diamond blade. This leads to cleaner cuts, less blade wear and less chipping.
If you mean stop/ stick while cutting / the saw might be too small for the job. required. The blade could be blunt. Very wet timber can jamb the blade. One tip is to cut a wedge hit this in at the rear of the timber after the timber has passed through the saw about a foot. AT ALL TIMES KEEP HANDS CLEAR OF SAW BLADE.
any saw is the opposite of the way the blade spins!
You had better not use it, unless the diamond saw blade can be used under wet and dry condition.Diamond saw blades work best when cutting wet. The water will prevent the blade from overheating and distorting in shape, it reduce harmful dust created by cutting, and will remove the slurry from the cut. Diamond cannot withstand the forces involved at the elevated temperatures of dry cutting ceramic and abrasive materials, and will be subject to rapid tool wear and possible failure. Blade life is greatly extended by wet cutting. However, many saw blades are designed to operate either wet or dry.Dry saw blade should be limited to situations where water isn't available easily or used in electrical saws machine. When doing dry cutting, the blade should be allowed to cool off periodically. Cooling can be increased by allowing the blade to spin freely out of the cut. Cut this way for a few minutes, then you should start to see the cutting surface get some shape back, this causes the bond to wear away and expose the diamonds which do all the cutting. This allows cool air to pass between the segments.Dry diamond cutting is dangerous for persons unfamiliar with the risks and process.
