In a cast system it is impossible to change your cast because you are born into YOUR place in it and if you actually WANT to change your cast, this means that you actually ACCEPT the cast system is valid FOR YOU - you are wanting to be in another place IN it!
A far better way to see the system for what it is, - a means of some people (at the top) controlling the lives of others in the name of religion and culture. This means that you should ignore it and get on with your life and if your fellow citizens will not let you, change the law to make the system (or prejudices it brings) illegal. You should be able to sue the people discriminating against you, just like you can in many countries with racism.
