How do you set a new homepage for Firefox?

After you have installed Firefox, click upon 'Tools' then upon 'Options' and then upon 'Main' to view your option as to which shall be your Homepage. 'Tools', 'Options' allows you to set up the basics of your Firefox browser. Each desktop can employ separate Options according to the user's desires.

In Firefox 4, there is an "Option" selection on the Tools part of the Menu Bar.

The Menu bar is just below the Firefox button at the top corner, but is sometimes/often hidden. To get to it hit F10.

To change the Homepage, either

--make the Menu Bar show up by hitting F10 (which toggles it on and off)

-or-

--Hit the Firefox button at the top corner and select Options > Options.

From there, click the General category on the top and change your Home Page to what you'd like. It helps to 'copy & paste' your home page in:

To paste in: Go to the page you'd like to use. Click in the address bar and it will highlight (the background turns blue with white lettering), and holding the CTRL key down hit C. This 'copies' what was highlighted. Then go to Tools > Options > General and delete whatever is in the Home page box. Then, with the curser in the box, Hold down the CTRL key and hit the letter V. This will paste whatever you copied earlier. Then click [Ok] and you should be set

Tools -> Options -> General tab, Home Page: then type in text box or navigate to page you want to use for home page then go to tools-options- general tab and press Use Current Page button, be sure you have only one tab open when you use this option other ways it will add all open pages as home page
