Yes, you can change your display name. All you do is:
1.File at the top of your display card
2.My account
3.Edit my ooVoo card
4.it should come up with another note card with your display photo and a small box where you can change your display name. Type your name in the box that you would like it to be, and boom you have a new user!
( if this does not work for you im sorry, ive done it before many times and its worked. )
