You get the stylus and click on the writing box... then you click on the letters/numbers you need to write what you want and then when you have written it, you go onto the X, Y, A, B buttons which are on the right hand side and click the A to send it.

∙ 12y agoI you mean using pictochat you can, by chatting with another DS running pictochat within a 12 foot radius. Unfortunatly, you can't text worldwide with a DSi/XL/lite/DS.
