How do you chat in nintendo 3ds?

You get the stylus and click on the writing box... then you click on the letters/numbers you need to write what you want and then when you have written it, you go onto the X, Y, A, B buttons which are on the right hand side and click the A to send it.

Just go to the PictoChat app and then tell other people to go to the PictoChat app, but make sure you're in the same room.

I you mean using pictochat you can, by chatting with another DS running pictochat within a 12 foot radius. Unfortunatly, you can't text worldwide with a DSi/XL/lite/DS.

Yes, it can, only locally though, which is picto chat, it allows people to chat locally with drawn or typed messages.

no there is no pictochat on the 3ds coz i have 1 the only way 2 commounicate is street pass and on the internet
