Supervisors and Community Assistants can check the profile page of any user to see if the account is currently blocked, or has been blocked in the past.
Regular members and unregistered users are not able to see this information, but if you ask a Supervisor or CA - and have a good reason to know - I'm sure they will tell you.

I've never seen a slideshow here, so I'm guessing the answer is 'Become a registered user, go to "My Settings," and check the box marked "Hide Advertisements".'
The privelege of the first ever blocked user on Wikianswers goes to :!@#$% (I can not tell the username otherwise I will get blocked from Wikianswers myself. ). He was blocked on 22 Mar 2005 by Chris at 18:33.

If you are a Sprint user and suspect that another Sprint user has blocked you, you can try calling or sending a text message to the person. If your calls go straight to voicemail every time or your messages are not delivered, it could be a sign that you have been blocked. Additionally, you can try reaching out through other means, such as social media or email, to see if the person is still active and responsive.
Only supervisors can unblock someone, but users are blocked for a reason and are rarely unblocked. The user themselves can email Wikianswers if they believe they have been unfairly blocked.
