Check to see if you are getting power and ground to motor - if so and motor does not work- bad motor
electric window motor bad or switch is bad check the motor and see if its getting power if so motor is burnt up if not switch is bad
Automatic Car windows can sometimes become trouble for the owner. If your window is rolling down, but refuses to roll up, this is due to a burnt wiring inside the motor. The motor is attached to the driving seat door.
if manual, window regulator. if electric, check fuses, window switch, window motor, window regulator.
Check the wires to the window motor. The window motor may have a loose wire or the motor may need to be replaced.
the motor in the door could have burnt out. it takes about 200 dollars to fix. (labor included) at least at the shop that i go to.
On any power window system: 1- check the fuses 2- check the switches 3- check the motor, go up/down and listen for an attempt for the motor to move 4- check the window relay
If the window motor is not running to raise the window, then several things need to be checked to fix the problem. Check the fuse, switch, wiring, and window motor to find which part is bad and needs to be replaced.
Your are LSI model right? No there is not. window doesn't roll down or up. You might have bad window motor or switches. Check your door jamb wire connection that runs to the window motor. Good luck
A faulty power window switch or faulty wiring. The motor works in either direction (there is only one motor per window), so it's not the motor but the wiring or the window switch. Unless the motor control is damaged, that is. Check the switch for continuity first, then check the continuity of the wiring. If you don't find the fault in either of those places, check the motor assembly. Post back here with your findings. Thank you.
you can take the panel off the door and find the wires going to the power window motor. Take a car battery or charger and hook it up to the wires at the motor. if the window goes up or down then it is probably the switch. If it does nothing reverse the hookup. If it still does nothing it may be your motor. Hooking it up one way will move the window up and reversing it , it will go down.
I would check the switches first then check the window motor for passengers side.
remove door panel and roll up window at the center of the door are two screws that dold the window to the motor remove them and carefully lower the window motor put window on track roll up motor and replace screws also check surrounding track screws and adjusment then replace door panel
