you can take the panel off the door and find the wires going to the power window motor. Take a car battery or charger and hook it up to the wires at the motor. if the window goes up or down then it is probably the switch. If it does nothing reverse the hookup. If it still does nothing it may be your motor. Hooking it up one way will move the window up and reversing it , it will go down.

Type your answer here... window switch may be defective.Try changing it with rear drivers side switch,to diagnose that posibility.Plug on switch may also just be loose.Wiggle the plug or unplug it and replug it to check for bad connection.pry switch cover at front and it will pop up.

check with your local Nissan dealer,,on the 1999 they were recalled,,I had a 1999 frontier,and they repalced it for nothing,,,
Check power to window switch. Common cause. Check power to window motor. If none then check fuses/relays.
