In the first model year of the Ford Mustang : The 170 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder is : ( point gap is .024 to .026 inch ) ( ignition timing is 6 * BTDC for the manual transmission and 12 * for the automatic transmission ) Also , the point dwell is 35 to 38 at idle
I believe this information is correct : point gap ( .024 to .026 ) dwell ( 35 to 38 ) spark plug gap ( .032 to .036 inch ) ignition timing ( 6 degrees BTDC - manual transmission ) ( 12 degrees BTDc - automatic transmission ) for a 1965 Ford Mustang 200 cubic inch straight 6 cylinder engine
6 degrees BTDC - manual transmission 12 degrees BTDC - automatic transmission point dwell at idle RPM ( 35 - 38 ) point gap ( .024 - .026 )
Once you get through all of the available missions and content, there is no longer any aircrat too unlock, you can get a mustang, but not a P-38.
The P-38 was the Lightning, not the Mustang. There were at least 14 fighter versions plus two photo-recce and a night fighter.
you need to check fuel pressure should be between 38 and 48 if pressure is ther then check for spark if your spark is good then take a commpression test should be above 128 if its low then check your timing marks these cars sometimes spin the bottom timing gear the key way breaks
I believe that is 35 to 38 point dwell for a 1966 Ford Mustang 200 straight 6 cylinder
35 to 38 dwell at idle RPM for your 200 cubic inch straight 6 cylinder in a 1965 Ford Mustang
The .38 Special is a specific cartridge. In addition to the .38 Special, there are perhaps a dozen different .38 cartridges. Most of them are fairly obscure/ obsolete today, but include the shorter, fatter, less powerful .38 S&W, the .38 Long and Short Colts, the .38 rimfires, .38 Merwin & Hullbert, etc. Sort of like "What is the difference between a Ford Mustang and a Ford?"
On right side of engine, pass side , under air intake hose.
In base 10: 38 Check: 34 + 4 = 38; 38 + 4 = 42 In base 6: 406 Check: 346 +2 = 406; 406 + 2 = 426
The basic timing should be 5 to 10 degrees BTC, NO VACUUM @ IDLE (600 RPM, not much higher or you'll be out of adjustment) I'm not familiar with your particular ignition but you can be sure that the timing MUST NOT be more than 36-38 BTC (no vacuum) @ any engine speed over 2600- 2800 RPM. if your'e running it on say 96 -98 Octane....other wise youv'e got to adjust it to run so that it doesn't ping under load or you'll damage the motor. If it pings under load, sounding like marbles rattling in a can you need to back down the timing.
