IMVU how do you change the default room?
On IMVU chat: In the expanded inventory tab at the bottom of your screen, click on Scenes. Choose the icon of the room you want to make as your default room and click the tiny black box in the upper right corner of the room's icon that is labeled with the letter "I". Click that letter and you will see at the top of the icon "Set as default" for the new room.
How do you get to your room in IMVU?
In the Home screen of IMVU, there is a tab that says My Room. Click on that and it will take you to whatever room is set as your default room. Default room being the room it takes you to when you invite someone to a chat. In the My Room tab you can set furniture and poses in your room to customize it as you like. While in a room you can change what room to load as your default by clicking on the Scenes tab. Move your mouse over the room you want as your default and a little i will appear, click the i and it will say the name of the room and the developer. Right above that, on the top will say Set As Default. Click that.
In imvu im not vip or ap but how do you supposed to get a public room if it dont say manage my room on your account settings?

How do you get into rooms on imvu?
Go to http://www.imvu.com/ Create a user name and password and choose Male or Female. Then pick from one of their default avatars to start with. After you create your avatar, click Next and it will take you to the download. Download the IMVU chat client. After you download enter your username and password and login. Once you start you can customize your avatar by purchasing clothes, heads, actions, rooms, and many other things for your avatar using credits. You are started out with so many credits and after that there are many ways to earn credits on the site or you can buy credits to further customize your avatar.
