Its sealed, you have to take it to the dealer!!!!
I have a 99 jetta, and you are unable to check the transmission fluid on your own. You will have to take it to a service station where they will check it for you for free.
How do i check the transmission fluid in a manual 99 Hyundai Accent?
There is a diPstick at the front on the transmission differential
You cant check the transmission fluid yourself , you have to take it to a shop and get them to check it . It doesn't have a stick , it has two things on the trans ,one to check the fluid and one to drain it ..
Nope, there is a low fluid sensor that will alert you when necessary.
check your owners manual?
i had the same problem. but guess what a 99 jetta doesnt have a dipstick for the tranny fluid it has a sealed lifetime transmission fluid. so you dont have to worry about it. i was going to change it and the mechanic asked "are you sure you want to do that?" i chuckled and asked why and he said that its like 400 dollars to change the fluid. i then choked and walked out the door. lol hope that helps
You add it in the same place you check it. You have to use a funnel.
You don't "pour" it in. Saturn uses a "sealed" transmission, meaning that you don't check the fluid level using a dipstick. There is an access hole on the side of the transmission.
try stopping to get gas at a full service gas station and ask them to check your fluids (all or just tranny), they should do it at no charge...now as for filling it they might charge or get it checked when you get your oil changed
pick it up and look at it's little dipstick!!
If it is an automatic, the fluid should be at operating temperature. The transmission in park and the engine at idle. Remove the dipstick and wipe it dry and check the level. Do not overfill.
