Check plug is at back of tranny big bolt by the flex pipe.Manual says so.
The 1997 and 1999 Chevy Cavalier transmissions are exactly the same. The transmissions, transmission linkage, and transmission mounts are identical.
manual transmissions don't have transmission oil !!!
check engine oil for water and check radiator for oil
To check most transmissions on Honda motor cycles you check engine oil. They have a liquid clutch that are in the crank case oil.
manual transmissions do not use transmission fluid so you will not find a dip stick... manual transmissions use gear oil which should not usually need to be replaces unless it is burnt up.
4 Quarts. Had to check myself.
If you have a tdi jetta then you would have a sealed transmission, so you can not check the fluid level on those transmissions
check oil and oil pressure if good sell it
The correct fluid for a 1998 Chevy Cavalier is 80-90 weight gear oil. Almost all manual automotive transmissions use the same fluid. Use caution not to overfill the transmission as this could cause higher than normal oil pressure.
Call a junk yard they usually have interchange books.
1989-1994 should fit.
no, they are different setups completely
