The best way is to use your textbook and notes from class. The teacher will explain how to do the homework and you should have that written down. The textbook also explains the material, so you just have to read through until you find the answer.
If it's working problems like math or physics, you're probably not going to be able to check the answers ahead of time because if you have not understood how to do the problem correctly, you're still going to get the wrong answer when you check them. Just try to take your time and work out each step in the problem carefully. Look at the textbook and your notes to help you figure out how to do the work if you get stuck.
