you call the phone number that has the voicemail left on it, then when it says 'please leave a message for ___' press STAR which is located on the bottom left corner of your phone keypad, then it will either say 'please type in your passcode' or 'you have __ new messages' =]

∙ 12y agoMost answering machines have a 'remote access' facility - check the user manual for instructions. Normally, you would dial your number then, while the answerphone's greeting is being played, you key in an access code which puts the machine into playback mode.
