Happens to me all the time as a brick mason. If its scabbed, you have to pull off the scab. the acid is trapped underneath and will continue to eat away. pull off the scab and rinse the cut thoroughly with water. gobs and gobs of water. then treat it like any other cut. good luck.
If you have a cut that has been contaminated with muriatic acid, the first step is to immediately rinse the wound with plenty of clean water for at least 10-15 minutes. Avoid scrubbing the area as it may worsen the injury. Afterward, cover the clean wound with a sterile dressing and seek medical attention as soon as possible. It's important to note that muriatic acid is a strong corrosive substance, so professional medical evaluation is crucial.
of coarse if you dont clean it right, or if bacteria got in it,
You don't use Muriatic acid to clean pools. It is used according to manufacturer's directions to balance the pH of your water. Acid v Alkalinity. Too high a pH, add acid. To low, add a pH increaser. 7.0-7.2 is about right. Now, your pool maintenance people may suggest a muriatic wash for your pool if it is loaded with black (or other) algae. However, that should be done only by trained, experienced professionals as we are talking about ACID. This acid in the water, administered properly will not have adverse effects; this I know because I once let my large in-ground pool go bad for a Southern California winter, and it became a breeding ground for mosquitos. I dumped in several gallons of acid to kill them and it didn't hurt them a bit! I hired a pool man and he said that the killer substance is the chlorine! (I got the problem cleared up before the little swimming buggers hatched into flying buggers!) If you are talking about acid washing a pool it is best to hire a professional to do the job. If an acid wash is suggested to remove algae, call someone else until they tell you a chlorine wash is the best way to remove algae stains. Sometimes both are needed to remove algae and metal stains. Try to maintain a pH of 7.2-7.4. If you are going to acid wash your pool find someone who has done a couple hundred of them as I have replastered many pools because an idiot did an acid wash improperly.
It could ... the pool water contains good amounts of Chlorine and possibly Muriatic Acid. Best to just discard that which got wet ... You wouldn't necessarily eat a hot dog in a bun that was just pulled out of the pool either ... (?)
Well if your ever cut by anything rusty make sure you clean it out right away! If you don't it could get infected.
pressure wash and can use muriatic acid but follow warnings on label
not really but what if you you got cut and need oxygen? keep it in water and clean the cut. put it sideways and fill the injury with vineger. hope your fish maks it.
no milk has no acid
Yes! The muriatic acid will remove epoxy paint on a concrete floor. Usually the epoxy paint will bubble up and will require a flat-blade or wire brush to full remove and.... repeat as necessary. be sure to nuetralize the floor when finished with (1pound of baking soda to 5 gallons of water). I got this reference from http://foundationarmor.com and it worked!
Clean the wound with soap and water. Put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. If the cut is very deep or long you may need to see a doctor and get stitched to close the wound.
‘No, I got them all cut!’
It was clean. It is't now
yes you just have to keep it clean
