hi, can anybody help. Does anybody out there know the best way to drain the petrol tank on a renault espace 2004
the car is a Renault espace diesel
On the S reg espace it is located at the back left of the petrol or diesel pump its a black Button the size of a milk bottle top.
To open the fuel cap on a Renault Espace, first ensure the vehicle is turned off. Locate the fuel cap release lever, which is typically found near the driver's seat, either on the floor or on the dashboard. Pull the lever to unlock the fuel cap, then exit the car and turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it. Always remember to secure the cap back on after refueling.
To bleed the fuel system on a Renault Espace 2.2 dCi, first ensure you have a clean workspace and safety precautions in place. Start by priming the fuel system using the manual pump located near the fuel filter; pump until you feel resistance. Next, turn the ignition to the 'on' position (without starting the engine) to help pressurize the system, and check for any air bubbles in the clear fuel lines. Finally, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to ensure that all air is purged from the system.
its on the drivers side under the bonnet, look for the fuel lines, you will need a torx socket or scewdiver to open fuel filter housing
The inertia switch on a Renault Espace is typically located in the engine compartment or near the battery. It is designed to cut off fuel supply in the event of a collision. For specific locations, it's best to consult the owner's manual or a service guide for the exact model year, as placements can vary.
its a switch just under the dasshboard on the passenger side i recently kicked mine by accident wen i crossed my legs
My understanding of exhaust smoke is that Blue is oil, Black is unburnt fuel, White is unburnt diesel on cold start. The main question would be, how much smoke and when does it do it?
Error code 70 on a Renault van means there is a problem with the fuel filter. Once you change or clean it, the code will go away.
In the Renault Espace, the petrol cap release is typically located inside the vehicle, near the driver's seat. Look for a small lever or button, often situated on the lower part of the dashboard or on the floor near the driver's side door. Pulling this lever will unlock the fuel cap, allowing you to open it from the outside. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the owner's manual for specific guidance.
You do not state the year of your Renault. Unless it is a very early model, It may not have a carburetor to find. It will have a fuel injection system instead.
