To be authentic Magnalite by Wagner, the bottom of the cookware will bear the following stylized trademarks: "Wagner Ware" (WagnerWare) or "GHC" plus "MAGNALITE"
Magnalite cookware refers to a line of cast aluminum cookware known for its durability and heat retention, while Magnalite by Wagner specifically refers to the brand that produces this type of cookware. The original Magnalite was developed in the 1940s, and Wagner became the trademark holder, enhancing the brand's reputation with quality manufacturing. Both types share similar features, but the branding and production history distinguish them.
For WagnerWare and GHC Magnalite and Professional, the company representative suggests the following: First, DO NOT use a Dishwasher... Wash and Dry by Hand, Only! Cleaning: Bon-Ami and a Scotch-Brite to be followed by wiping the inside with Wesson Oil. Polishing: Flitz Metal Polish Baked on Grease: Carbon-Off Grease Remover
