Purchase a can of Throttle body spray cleaner. Be sure it is sensor safe. Clean all the throttle linkage, and then clean inside the throttle body, making sure you clean the butterfly throughly.
if you look under the radiator fill bottle there should be a small box that has ground connectors in it and is bolted to the inside firewall clean that and see if that helps. might take apart the connector and get some fine sandpaper and clean the connectors. i had same problem.
You don't. But you can clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. Just follow the directions on the can.
pull off air intake duct and clean with carb spray and open throttle plate and scrub inside as far as you can and get all the crap out of there.
no
dirty throttle body can cause staling and low rough idle . remove intake hose open throttle all the way and clean with either carb clean or throttle body cleaner found at any auto store. clean all around the inside of the butterfly and housing.
If you have backed out the idle adjustment screw all the way and it still has issues then the system is probably dirty. Get a good carb cleaner and clean out all the ports on the throttle manifold near the intake point. blow from each tube to the inside and then open the throttle and clean the inside as best you can. If its really bad you might need to remove it and pressure wash the inside out.
