the best way is to take listerene and make sure that you dilute it (water it down, because if you leave as strong as it is it will kill bacteria that is needed for your new piercing to heal). Also, you could rinse your mouth with salt and water. Make sure you take ibuprofen to get the swelling down and so it heals properly and on time.
You should be following the detailed written instructions provided to you by your professional body piercer.
I actually just got mine done last night. No, not profesionally, my sister did it. It has a tiny sting after it is done. When you wake up in the morning it will be to the point of no moving the tongue. It is only because it got a little swollen. The pain goes away in like 20-30 minutes... It is not bad.I said.... Ouch for the first second... only cuz i react stupidly xDmouthwash and/or with hydrogen peroxide......just "swish" in mouth for 30-60 seconds and spit out
Alcohol-free mouthwash or saline solution. I find that the mouthwash tastes better but its whichever you prefer :)
i would go with salt water :D its what i do with all my others :D
Nose piercing
This is what will happen if you do not clean it
It is possible but only if you dont clean the piercing. If you clean the piercing then it is a very slim chance.
i wouldn't clean a tongue piercing with peroxide. when you first get your tongue pierced you're suppose to clean it with antiseptic mouth wash and you are suppose to drink liquids for a whole week when you first get it pierced.
by keeping it clean, and not touching it a lot or playing with it.
Clean it as often as possible.....When u eat (clean it) when u drink anything other than water (clean it) and when u smoke (clean it). Brush your tongue also to keep it clean
A tongue piercing is a piercing through the tongue or any part of the tongue, including the web underneath.
what do you if you get a puss pocket in your tongue after a tongue a piercing"
Don't put peroxide in your mouth. It can kill you. Go back to the piercing parlor or your doctor's to have it checked out. To properly clean your piercing, brush your teeth twice a day, as well as the top and bottom of your tongue. To clean the tongue bar, dip it in alcohol, and if you're putting it back in your tongue right away, rinse it. I don't have my tongue pierced, though I want one, and I asked my boyfriend this question. He gave me his answer.
No. A genital piercing includes any piercing on or around your genitals. Not your tongue.
No tongue piercing doesn't cause cancer.
Rinse it with either salt water or an alcohol-free mouthwash after every meal.
