How do you clone Pokemon in crystal?

1. Pick the Pokemon and/or item you want to duplicate

2. If you want to clone an item, equip it to the Pokemon. If you don't want to, skip this stage

3. Go to Bill's PC and switch boxes. Deposit the Pokemon in the box.

4. Switch boxes again. Turn off the Gameboy when the : 'Saving...please do not turn off the power' comes on. It's best if you let the whole sentence come up first before turning it off. NB: Do NOT withdraw any Pokemon because when you turn the gameboy back on, that withdrawn Pokemon will be lost

5. Turn your GB back on. The Pokemon and/or item will be in your party and in the box you deposited it in.

You give the Pokemon you want to clone an item you want to clone. You change the box and deposit that Pokemon. You change the box and when it says not to shut off the game shut it off anyway (let the whole thing come up). You should have your Pokemon with you and the clone inside the box that you deposited in.
