How do you clone an item on Pokemon Ruby?

You can't clone in ruby but you can in emerald you go to the battle tower ''in emerald''

then you go to da PC and you deposit the Pokemon you want to clone in a emty box and log of and save now log back on and withdraw the Pokemon you depoisited in the emty box and go talk to the ladie closest to yo band say open lv pick any Pokemon you like and talk to her all the way till it says would you like to save the game and shut your gamr off and turn it back on youll be in front of her instead of at the PC and your Pokemon will be in the box and in your party.

P.S you can only clone five Pokemon at a time.
