When you get to areas covered in twilight and transform into a wolf, you will see your map marked with blue dots. Each dot is a tear of light. The tears, however, are trapped inside little bugs. Kill them to get the tears. Be careful, however, becaause they move around a lot and have a nasty electric attack. This is done three times, and each time you must collect 16 tears, making for a grand total of 48 tears in the entire game. There's a catch, however, with the last tear of the game: to get it, you have to beat a boss found in Lake Hylia. You will eventually be prompted to this boss, so no hurries until then.
