You have to melt wax on the stove. Get a cup, ( about 3, or 4 inches tall). Get a crayon, and the candle. For this the candle has to be mini. break up the crayon (about 1 inch a piece), put them in the cup. Then put wax in the cup with the crayon and stir until all the chuncks of crayon are gone. The wax will be the same color as the crayon. Then sit the mini-candle n the cup of colored wax. DONT TAKE THE CANDLE OUT!!! Leave the candle in there and it stays in there cuz that is the candle. when it all drys you can decorate it with sparkels and other things.

actually the color does not effect how fast the candle burn, i got confused of " Does candle's color effect how candle's burn?"but i think the color does not effect how candle burns. But some people will think that the white or yello candle will burn slower because color will obsorb the heat more. Hope i have answered your question.

the color has nothing to do with the candle at diffrent burning rate it is the wick. We found that color does make a difference. We bought the exact same candles except each candle was a different color. Found out that the white candle burned down the fastest, the red was next, and so on.
