When you see Bigfoot below you, follow him as he moves under the trees. He may sometimes turn back when he is out of sight. When you reach the caves and contact Mews, Gretchen Grimlock swoops in and cages Bigfoot, and carries him off on her helicopter. Follow her. Jump from your copter to hers and pull off the cover of her fuel tank (under the front of the cockpit), which will quickly begin to leak fuel. Jump down to the cage with Bigfoot and use the garden shears to cut the rope holding the cage.
Go into the kite store and talk to the lady, and she will let you borrow one for free (just click on any of the kites). You can return it when you are through, or it will appear again the next time you visit Cryptids Island. A kite is like a large "follower" anytime you are outdoors on the main part of Cryptids Island (not the other geographic locales). Like the balloons on Counterfeit Island, the kites lift you up, so you can jump higher. In fact, you can see the entire "Bigfoot or Bust" pedal-blimp at Cliff Park.
"Sparky" the dog (a Scottish Terrier) is not part of Cryptids Island, and only appears in the binocular telescope on the ridge at Loch Ness. He does not have an official name.
She never does. Fortunately it is not part of the quest.
The Scottish Terrier nicknamed "Sparky" appears in the viewfinder (binocular telescope) at Loch Ness. If you clicked on him during the Preview, he would bark at you. He is not part of the Cryptids island quest.
You never do. You will, however, find substantial proof of the similar creature, Bigfoot. At the monastery in the Himalayas, the monks are unwilling to part with their Yeti scalp. However, you do get a camping lantern, and one of the monks lets you climb up for a photo of a mysterious footprint in the snow. (You will need the camera from Loch Ness.) When you have proven the other three cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you to the Pacific Northwest in pursuit of Bigfoot.
Go to the museum (first floor right) and watch all 5 of the cryptids videos (at least part of each one).
It is on the hill above the ticket booth. It is not a part of the quest, but was part of the sneak peek of Cryptids Island, where players would try to spot Nessie. The dog at the right side would bark and Nessie would appear on the far side of the waterway.
The viewfinder game was part of the demo of Cryptids island and had almost nothing to do with the quest. It was possible to see a hazy outline of Nessie after you saw the dog barking. If you did, you received a Nessie costume prize.
After Mews leaves the bedroom, drink the water and go downstairs to the room on the right, which is the cryptids museum. Look at all 5 videos there (at least part of each one) and then Mews will appear to offer you the chance to track down four of the cryptids.
You go on the helicopter and click pacific northwest. Then when it's says you saw Bigfoot, click start and follow him until he reaches the caves. Then you radio to Mr. Mews but Gretchen bugs it. Then you jump on the helicopter and spill the gas. (cap) then use the shears to cut the line and float down.
You never do. The monks are unwilling to part with it. However, your trip to the Himalayas is not completely wasted. The head monk gives you a camping lantern, and one of the monks lets you go up a mountain trail to get a photo of a curious footprint. Once you have these, there is no reason to go back to the mountains. When you have proven the existence of the other three Cryptids (Nessie, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil), Mews will send you in pursuit of Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest.
