To complete the quest Oasis, you need take part in the ceremony offered by the leader of the tree people and drink the potion, when you wake up you will be near to the talking tree, talk to the tree, he will ask you to kill him, before you do go and talk to all adult the tree people in the Oasis some will give you tasks/options, then descend into the cave and look for the beating heart in the tree roots (you will hear it beating when you get close). You need to swim through part of the cave to find it. You can then choose to kill it or apply the ointment given to you by one of the tree people to speed up growth, there are lots of Mylurks to fight in the cave so watch out, also lots of weapons to pick up, use them to repair your armoury. When you leave the cave speak to the tree people again to get your rewards.
You can also light the tree on fire

∙ 14y agoYou have to find the settlement oasis at the top of the map its in the cliffs through a path way a man called tree father birch will talk to you and there are green bushes and tree's around ( a rare sight in the capitol wasteland)

In my opinion Fallout New Vegas is. In Fallout NV it is easier to make caps so you can buy better wepons and ammo. In Fallout 3 It's hard to make a lot of caps in the begining making it a slow start. But is you want to test your skills play Fallout 3.
