ok...simple if you know what you are doing
If its got stuff on it already then just plug it in
if its NEW then plug it in, load windows, goto control panel, choose administrative tools,
double click on Computer management, choose storage on the right hand side, then choose Disk management on the right hand side.
You will see your new disk here, then you just have to ask windows to set it up for you.
this assumes you're using XP not Wishta.
