How do you configure a sub domain?

I have a website with a testbed version where I make changes before rolling it out to the public. I have been using (www [dot] alphaomegaveterans [dot] org/a-testbed/) for the address, however changes I have made require a separate sub domain, which I have created as (testbed [dot] alphaomegaveterans [dot] org/).

If you look at the sub domain (second link), it doesn't download all of the formatting it does when you use the sub directory link (first one). I have a basic .htaccess file for the sub domain and I am using a single PHP file in the main domain.

Any ideas?

A piece-wise continuous function is one which has a domain that is broken up inot sub-domains. Over each sub-domain the function is continuous but at the end of the domain one of the following possibilities can occur:the domain itself is discontinuous (disjoint domains),the value of the function is not defined at the start or end-point of the domain ((a hole),the value of the function at the end point of a sub-domain is different to its value at the start of the next sub-domain (a step-discontinuity).A piece-wise continuous function is one which has a domain that is broken up inot sub-domains. What symbol separates the sub page name from the Domain name?

It depends on what you mean by "sub page name". If you mean what is called a "sub domain", for example, http://mysubdomain.mydomainname.com/, you can see that the sub domain and domain name is separated by a period character commonly called a "dot". If you mean what is called a "sub page", then here are some examples: http://www.mydomainname.com/mysubpage.html http://www.mydomainname.com/mysubfolder/mysubpage.html - a slash is the separator symbol. How create www2 on your website?

www2 is a host name, usually for a sub-domain, used to identify closely related websites, e.g. a server cluster. To create www2 for a website is a matter of creating a sub-domain like: www2.example.com. The same applies to www3.example.com, www4.example.com, etc. Note that a website doesn't need www2, or any sub-domain for that matter.
