If you're talking about windows live messenger then yes you just need a video camera and connect it to the computer - there are some laptops that already have a camera in them - and a microphone, connect the microphone right next to where you connect the headphones.

I do not know how to make Microsoft talk to you but I know that if you connect amini microphone then you can go to a word processor and connect your microphone if you have a tool bar you can select microphone on. You cannot connect a USB microphone to a mixer. It must be connected to a computer. The Behringer 502 can accept any dynamic or condenser microphone with an XLR connector .
