well, first look at the schedule. the time that it says is actually the sign-up time, not the competition time. So say it says 8:00. Go to the arena at 8:00 and click enter pet. Choose the pet you want to enter, then Wait till 8:30. At 8:30, go to the arena and click watch competition. If you entered your pet, then you will always see your pet compete. At 9:00 the results will be ready, so you can go see how your pet did. I would not enter your pet into a cooking competition until you are on cooking level 5 at the academy, that way you have a better chance of winning.
