If you know the unit of the commander you are trying to contact, you may either:
Understand that CO's are busy people, and there are a number of people you may need to pass through to get to the commander.
From past experience, your best option is to contact the unit First Sergeant and communicate to him your problem. He can advise you, probably better than anyone, how to proceed, or can expedite your contact with the commander.
