Live as normal a life as possible. For most people that have epilepsy, it does not affect most aspects of their lives. They may be restricted in some ways, but most things they can do perfectly normally. It is only if they get very serious seizures and get them very regularly, that it has any major impact on their lives. If you have epilepsy, then talk to your doctor about it and they will tell you where your limits are. Everyone is different.

If someone has a serious epileptic seizure, there is not much that can be done. You cannot stop it. All you can do is let it run its course. Stay with the person and make sure they don't do anything to injure themselves like fall over and hit themselves against something. When the seizure has run its course, be there for them as they recover. They may be very tired or disoriented and unwell.

You cannot really stop an epileptic seizure. If someone is having one, all you can do is let it run its course, and make sure the person does not hurt themselves unnecessarily, like by falling and hitting something. Once the seizure is over, the person will need some care as they recover. They may be tired or sore or a bit disoriented. Stay with them until the have fully recovered.
