A Mac is a personal computer (PC). If you want to run Microsoft's Windows operating system on a Mac you will need a recent Mac with an Intel processor and a copy of the Windows software. You can install Windows and use it along side the Macintosh operating system. (See links below)

QuickBooks is not backwards compatible. You would have to be converting to the same version or higher for PC (2007 or higher).
