Does a 3.5 HP push lawn mower have a Chan to make a motorbike?

A push-type lawn mower does not normally have a chain. Dunno that you might want to use that type of engine to make a motorbike as the engine has a vertical shaft. You would need something to convert the vertical force to horizontal force to drive the gear on the motorbike.

How much horsepower in Honda 160 cc lawnmower engine?

Honda makes more than one type 160cc engine. The GC160 horizontal shaft outputs 5 h.p. The vertical shaft engine outputs 4.8 h.p.

How do outboard motors work?

The top part of an outboard houses the engine. Most older models used a two stroke type where oil is mixed with the gas. The engines' vertical drive shaft is the slim middle part. At the bottom, a gear converts the vertical motion of the shaft to a horizontal one, to which is connected the propeller.

What is the entrance or opening to a mine called?

An adit. In North America, the horizontal or sloped entrance to a mine is called a "Portal". Portal more specifically refers to the portion of the shaft visible from the outside of the mine. In some areas, the Portal portion of a horizontal shaft is called the "Drift Mouth" or "Drift Portal" as this shaft leads into a "Drift Mine". With a vertical shaft, that portion would be called a "Collar".

What are the 3 uses of Gears?

Gears can change direction of rotational force from one axis to another. For example, a wind driven mill. The wind turns a shaft that is horizontal. That shaft turns a gear that is vertical, and the vertical gear meshes with a horizontal gear that turns a vertical shaft. Gears can change rotational speed. With a small gear meshed and turning a larger gear, the larger gear will have a slower RPM. Gears can change torque to increase or decrease available power. A small low force gear driving a larger gear will provide more rotational force.

How do you convert vertical shaft to horizontal shaft?

Their is one fairly basic way to modify a vertical shaft to a horizontal. Since most motors (except two strokes) are only designed for vertical, they normally can handle being on their sides, so you have to do several modifications. The gas tank and carb need to be rotated 90 degrees so they still operate. You need to get lubrication to the crank, con rod, and piston. I would do this by bolting a scoop to the con rod via the same bolts, made of moderate gauge sheet metal. Be sure t check the clearances so the scoop doesn't hit the sidewalls of the crank case and the timing gear/camshaft. If contact occurs you may end up having to junk the whole motor.
