I think you are asking how to take a snapshot (picture) from the video? This is how:
> With your video on the time-line view of WMM (Windows Movie Maker)
> Drag the green bar (manually) in the Preview pane to a spot you would like to take a snapshot
> Click on Tools, and Take Picture from Preview
> You will be asked to name the picture file and choose a destination to save it
> Click Save
The Picture is now a JPEG Image (.jpg) saved in the destination you chose.
If you are meaning to convert a video into a series of images or what we call an "image sequence" so that each frame of the video is now a separate image file, you can find a few converters that do this, but some cost a few bucks. Just do a quick search for "video to image sequence" converter or something similar.
